The under 10’s have made a big improvement this season and the players seem to be enjoying their second season of tackling. The ruck has been introduced and there have been many versions seen over the season! We have maintained our large and friendly squad with many new players joining and fitting straight into the under 10’s family. The results have been mainly positive this season and the players competed well at the Peterborough festival against some monster 10 year olds! We took three squads and they were all successful with no scores recorded obviously!

Whilst three teams entered the Beds festival we also sent another squad of players over to the Olney festival on the same day. Four teams who put in some big performances and showed a lot of character and commitment to the game.

We have worked hard on our handling and passing skills this season and many of the players are playing a very exciting style of running rugby. Many of the players love the ‘bosh’ and are loving the contact side of the game.

42 players and families enjoyed the fun and rugby on the recent tour to Yarmouth and the sun shone on us. On the Saturday we had competitive games between teams including the parents and siblings and played volleyball, rounders, dodge ball and cricket and fun races. Made a change from playing rugby and it was enjoyed by all and we had the usual parent injuries!
On the Sunday we played some great rugby on the ‘concrete’ grass pitches at Wymondham and all the results were very positive.
Thanks to all the players, parents and coaches for this season and we look forward to moving on next season. Well done to all the under 10’s.
